Retread Plant

Technicians conduct a visual inspection to ensure casing is able to be retreaded.

Retread Plant

Casings are checked for damage to the sidewall, nails, lumps, and bead separation.


Tire Buffing & Skiving

Ensuring that the tire is uniform in size and evenly rounded.

Retread Plant

Buffing the tire removes old tread rubber and textures the casing to optimal texture.

Skiving the tire allows our technician to remove rust and prep for new rubber adhesion.


Tire Repair

Using Goodyear tire specs, repair patches and damage to casings.

Technicians preform a final quality inspection of any repairs to match our standards.


A-Z Filler Machine

Build up a base level of rubber for the new tread to mount.

Retread Plant

Adding a new layer of rubber to the casing after it has been repaired and inspected.

Buffed surface is covered with 2/32 of an inch of new rubber for the tread to bond.


Tread Rubber Application

New Tread Rubber is applied to the prepared casing.

Uni-circle treads are a single band of rubber which is applied in one piece to the casing.

Pre-cured rubber is installed in a length and cut to match the size of the casing.


Tire Envelope

A protective covering that helps to match the tread to the casing.

The envelope is placed over the tread and air is vacumed out to test the seal.

If any leads are identified, the can be corrected to ensure a high quality finished product.


Tire Chamber

The finished tread and casing are placed in the chamber to cure.

Retread Plant

Tires are cured at 265 deg. Fahrenheit for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Each chamber holds 25 tires.


Envelope Removal

Tire envelope is removed and the finished product is ready for inspection.

The envelope is removed from the cured tire for inspection by our technicians.

Finished retreads are lined up for final inspection before being sent to customers.


Final Inspection

Technicians check every tire for quality and finish before approval.

Each tire is inspected to ensure an even cure and that any repairs were successful.

Sidewalls are refinished to ensure a uniformed appearance. Customer labels are applied.
