CoastTire.com Opens The Beacon Room

Saint John, New Brunswick, December 3, 2004 - Today CoastTire.com reveals a new section of the website - The Beacon Room, a member only, online club for Coast Tire customers.

"Membership is easy," says Webmaster Christine Douglas-Belyea, "simply complete the registration form and you are in! It is free, fun and rewarding."

In The Beacon Room registered members are given the opportunity to provide feedback to the company and receive "early warning" of upcoming specials and new products, shop online and stay in tune with the automotive industry.

"The Beacon Room will evolve and expand over time, as we add functionality and respond to the wishes of its members." adds Douglas-Belyea.

Coast Tire & Auto Service Launches Exclusive Online Contest

Saint John, New Brunswick, November 15, 2004 - "FREE TIRES @ Coasttire.com", that is the headline of the promotional material for Coast Tire's latest online initiative.

Today, Coast Tire is launching a contest for four Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice tires, exclusively on the company's recently revised website www.coasttire.com in both the English and French sections. The contest period is Monday, November 15 to Saturday December 18.

"One of our objectives," says Webmaster Christine Douglas-Belyea. "is to encourage visitors to look around the site. To facilitate this, we have added a quiz to the contest entry section - entrants will be required to fill out the brief quiz before they are permitted to advance to the actual contest entry form.

"All of the quiz answers are on the site," adds Douglas-Belyea. "and if a question is answered incorrectly the entrant will be directed to the appropriate website page for the correct answer. On completion of the quiz the entrant will advance to the entry form, complete with skill testing question."

Other contest objectives include testing of specific promotional venues and creative elements, as well as the overall effectiveness of the website for this type of promotion and communication with customers.

The contest draw will take place Tuesday, the 21st and the winner's name will be posted on the site.


Coast Tire & Auto Service launches revamped website.

Coast Tire & Auto Service, Amherst, Announces Renovation and Move to Temporary Location

Amherst, Nova Scotia, October 1, 2004 - Ron Outerbridge, President of Coast Tire & Auto Service, and Paul Landry Manager of the company's Amherst store, jointly announced today the renovation of their One Industrial Drive location - and the opening of a temporary location at 283 Church Street.

"We had grown out of our building on Industrial Drive," said Landry, "but, the location is excellent, so we chose to stay and renovate, instead of move."

During the renovation period, which may last the balance of this year, Coast Tire has set up a temporary location at 283 Church Street. Customers will have access to the same reliable products and service, from familiar faces, at the Church Street location.

"We are very excited about the renovation," adds Outerbridge, "it will allow us to serve the Coast Tire customers of Amherst and surrounding area much more effectively and efficiently."
